How to prepare Motoho,
What you need;
Phofo ea mabele (sorghum mill)
Fermenting mixture (tomoso)
Water
Bucket
Stirring rod

First you find a bucket that you will prepare motoho in, 5kg sorghum, 15 litres cold water, 5 litres hot water and litomoso. Pour 5kg sorghum mill in an empty bucket, pour 10 litres of cold water and stir till the sorghum mills has totally dissolved in the water.

Pour hot water in to the mixture and stir. Make sure that the mixture is Luke warm. If hot pour cold water in order to adjust the temperature to Luke warm. Then add tomoso (fermenting mixture) and stir again. Keep the mixture in a warm place for about 5 hours time or until it tastes sour.
Pour the mixture in a large pot and let to boil for about 30 minutes. Keep stirring frequently while cooking to avoid lumps and cook until that mixture thickens and turns into porridge.
